Students must be SERIOUS and able to devote time and effort into learning. Our regular training allows students to learn new skills, ingrain and fine tune old skills and work on their strengths, speed, flexibility, endurance and their combat mindset. Combatives is not just a skill set, It’s a life styleSkills must be drilled, practised and ingrained so they become reflective subroutines. Immediate, instinctive and natural. We must condition ourselves mentally and physically so if we are attacked, our actions are are a simple reflex, not a thought process. It is critical that we are skilled enough to immediately stop our attacker. We call this ‘Combative Conditioning'. Our regular training includes, but not limited to:• Fighting in little light• Fighting single and multiple attackers • Grappling and Ground Combatives • Ground fighting• Sparring • Knife Combatives• Fighting with Pugil Sticks• Sticks fightingOur training often ends with a 20 workout. Students are introduced to a series of 'circuit' type training stations that includes 'Old School Callisthenics' including, weights, Ground Bags, Heavy bags, Hurdles, Sand bags, sparring and pugil sticks.
