Q: What is the difference between your daily training
and your courses?
A: Not much. They are designed for different types of
students.
Our courses are designed for people who want to learn
how to protect themselves but they do not have the time
to commit to a regular daily training. Our courses are
six hours long and the goal is to introduce the student
to some basic techniques that they can use immediately
after the course should they have to. However, we
stress that combatives is a perishable skill and if you do
not practice it on a regular basis you will never be
proficient with it and sorry, watching YouTube or
talking about practicing does not qualify as practice.
Some of our regular students who train with us daily
will attend these courses as a refresher course. This is
basic training
Our daily training is two and a half hours long and
available four days a week and is designed for the more
serious students. Students who attend our daily
training know that training on a regular basis is
essential if they want to be proficient in protecting
themselves and their family. These students know that
they are going to have to sacrifice certain things in
order to train on a regular basis including time away
from friends and family as well as it is going to cost
more money. These students know that the rewards of
learning a new skill and building confidence outweigh
the sacrifices. Students train in Hand to Hand
Combatives, Knife Combatives, Knife fighting as well as
stick fighting during our daily training. These students
are looking for skill, focus, physical conditioning and
confidence.
This is advanced training.
