As we know, our streets are not getting any safer and possessing a set of fighting skills to help you avoid a violent situation is essential but having the skills to deal with violence should it not be avoidable is critical. Our ‘Dirty Dozen’ course focuses on the 12 most common street attacks as noted by our City, State and Federal Law Enforcement agencies. This course teaches the student to run from potential violence if possible, but if escape is not possible, to do what ever it takes to stop the attack which may include; biting, ripping, gouging and breaking something. Sorry but we don’t teach fancy, pretty or Hollywood BS. Fighting on the streets is ‘Fighting For Your Life’ and it’s not glamorous and fancy doesn’t work and wrestling with someone will only get you killed, especially if the attacker isn’t alone or has an edged weapon. And sorry, no magical dragon flying kicks, no ninja death touches, or fancy disarms are taught in any of our courses. The Dirty Dozen include defense against: Day 11.Hay maker (wide outside punch to the side of the head)2.Front clothing grab, maybe followed by hay maker3.Two handed front clothing grab followed by a head butt or knee4.Two handed front choke5.A kick to the groin/lower legs.6.Headlock, headlock to the ground7.Mounted while on ground Day 28.Knife to throat (robbery)9.Knife to belly (robbery)10.Knife to throat from behind11.Straight Stabbing to the face or stomach12.Slashing knifeOur Dirty Dozen course is 16 hours long and held on two consecutive Sundays. This time between days allows for better recovery prior to the second day of training as this course is demanding. Learning to protect yourself requires a commitment and time to learn. We believe that two days (16 hours) is the minimal amount of time a student should spend learning the basics. Though this is a ‘Basic’ course, students will walk away with enough skills to help them win an attack. We strongly encourage all students to train after our training so should they ever be attacked, their response is immediate and effective. No previous experience is required for this course. No one under 18 years old allowed , and students must be in good physical health to attend any of our training. People with known injuries that might prevent them from this type of training should consult their doctor first. There is a good chance that you will sweat and you will be sore during and after this training course.$150Contact us with questions.
