Q: Why don’t you teach a lot of submissions and chokes
A: Because fighting for survival is different than
fighting in the ring for money. Making a mistake on the
streets can get you seriously hurt or killed.
There are no rules on the streets. There are no judges or
referee’s making sure everyone is playing by the same
set of rules. You can’t simply quit by taping out or
giving up. On the streets people want to KILL YOU.
Criminals often attack in groups and there are usually
weapons in a street fight.
If some guy attacks you and you throw him to the
ground and try to put a rear naked choke on him, an
anaconda choke, an arm bar or one of thousands of
other submissions, there is a real good chance that
he/she is either going stab you with something or his
buddy is going to come over and stomp your face in.
We teach that if you are ever attacked, you are fighting
for survival, YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR LIFE.
We teach you simple yet devastating offensive
techniques designed to take the fight and the will to
fight out of the attacker, or attackers as quickly as
possible. You may not have the strength or the
endurance to wrestle with someone but there is a good
chance you will have the strength and the ability to bite
the guy or jam your thumb behind the attackers eye
socket.
HOWEVER,, because not every event or attack maybe
life threatening, we do teach many basic submissions
designed to control an attacker, yet modified enough to
allow you to disable the attacker if warranted.
